SUMMER - AUTUMN OF 2003

After The chair, a series of colour drawings made by Rodríguez-Amat between March and April 2003, the artist started a new series of works painted in mixed technique on paper and characterised by the limitation of the use of colours. Black and white become of great importance in these works.

Following these first paintings, the series continued with oil paintings on canvas of bigger size. The definition of the organic forms, as well as the use of many more colours, establish the characteristics of most of the paintings of the second part of this year.
