In this 1969 portrait I represented the person in both visions, front and profile. This duality allows the person to be recognized in both facets. Unlike other portraits with realistic features, here I combined figurative elements with shapes that determine the person’s characteristics from my point of view. The artist sees and transmits on the surface his interpretation, in this case, of the person portrayed.
