STUDIES FOR THE SUITE OF VERGES

These studies have been made directly on paper without making any previous drawings.

I, knowing the shape and bones of the skeleton, have traced the shape of each of the bones with brushstrokes in watercolor and Chinese ink. Observe and analyze the anatomy of skeletons. Obviously you need a knowledge of skeletons to do this without previous drawings.

Feeling able to do these jobs has filled me with satisfaction for the result achieved.

In addition to the shape of the skeletons, analyze the movements, the bones of the arms, legs, ribs. They are lines that have been made giving the proportion and shape of each of the bones of the skeletons.

In some of these drawings that I have called "Studies" I have added elements of the death of Virgins; the scythe, the flag, the clock, etc.

By the simple fact of being done quickly, these drawings achieve an absolute lightness in the forms and movements.

When you observe them, do not remain passive, on the contrary, try to enjoy this work of mine.
